In 2008 Jercy Gutiérrez, a native from the peruvian andes, return to start a firm in Peru.
After working as a commercial director for BARBARA BUI in Paris and as a buyer for the boutique multibrand KABUBKI at Paris, he gains experience and knowledge with the luxury brands like PRADA,DIOR,YSL and MISSONI. It is then that he discovers his creative skills and returns to Lima to create the Evolèt brand.
Evolèt whose philosophy is to democratize fashion and a strong social commitment, economic and environmental commitment; where all our products are designed and crafted in our workshop, using high quality peruvian materials in a 70% of our collection. Like the Alpaca that has been valued for its fiber since Pre-Inca times due to the properties and quality of the coat, a light, warm and resistant fiber that has nothing to envy the cashmere in terms of softness and beauty.
Pima cotton, a fiber that has extraordinary characteristics and unsurpassed softness to the touch, which gives fabrics a precise drop, maximum shine and freshness.
Our firm is responsible and ethical, it seeks a balance between aesthetics, fashion, promoting a more conscious lifestyle and consumption.
Evolèt has participated in Vancouver Fashion Week (Canada) (March 2014) and Who’s NeXT – Paris (January 2016). In two editions of the LiFWeek (Lima Fashion Week 2014 -2015) and in the first two editions of It Project. While Fashion Week is the most important media event in the city, It Project brings together a select group of prominent designers in a space of architectural richness.
